Matthew 9:35-38 (NLT) 35 Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” 10:1 Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness.

1) JESUS CALLED AND TRAINED 12 BECAUSE THE HARVEST WAS TOO BIG FOR ONE PERSON TO HANDLE.

2) JESUS KNEW HE NEEDED TO WORK THROUGH OTHERS TO REACH AND TAKE CARE OF THE MASSES.

3) JESUS CHOSE 12 TO CARRY THE MISSION THAT HIS FATHER GAVE HIM TO DO.

4) JESUS STAYED WITH HIS 12 DISCIPLES CONTINUALLY. (They were His lifelong permanent disciples. He walked with them, laughed with them, did ministry with them, and taught them daily lessons. And asked them questions. He went everywhere with them to train them for the harvest.)

5) JESUS DIDN’T TRAIN THE MULTITUDES HE TRAINED HIS 12 DISCIPLES. (Everything that he did with the multitudes was to teach the 12. If Jesus trained so should we. The method, system and pattern worked. Jesus gives a framework that works to reach and disciple the masses and create multiplication in our church.)

6) JESUS POURED HIS LIFE INTO THE LEADERS THAT HE WAS TRAINING TO MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS.

7) JESUS TRAINED THE 12 TO EMPOWER AND SEND THE 12 TO DO WHAT HE DID.

1) RECRUIT NEW PEOPLE. (Evangelize)

2) FEED AND TAKE CARE OF THEM. (This is where their needs are met and they meet the needs of everyone in the group.)

3) FACILITATE/TEACH WEEKLY BIBLE LESSON. (Lesson found in Daily Growth Book,)

4) DEVELOP EACH MEMBER INTO MATURE BELIEVERS THAT CAN EVENTUALLY LEAD THEIR OWN GROUP. (Develop them and help them get to their next level.

5) BUILD LOVING FRIENDSHIPS FOF LIFE.

6) BUILD THE CHURCH.

7) SET GOALS WITH EACH MEMBER AND HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEM.

1) SHARE LEADERSHIP VISION. (Every D.G member should know that we are expecting them one day to eventually lead a D.G themselves. We are not training to stay but to reach others by teaching them what they have learned, )

2) IDENTIFY LEADERS WITHIN GROUP THAT ARE NEXT TO LAUNCH A D.G.

3) MEET WITH THEM AND SET GOALS AND TRAIN THEM TO LAUNCH THEIR OWN GROUP.

4) MEET WITH THEM ON A WEEKLY BASIS AND CONTINUE TO TRAIN THEM UNTIL THEY LAUNCH. (This is the beginning of your L-12)

5) ONCE YOU HAVE LAUNCHED THEM NOW YOU OFFICIALLY HAVE A L-12 GROUP THAT YOU MEET WITH WEEKLY FOR LEADERSHIP TRAINING, GOAL SETTING AND ACCOUNTABILITY. (Goal is to help them get to their next level of growth. You want all the leaders that you have launched to eventually have their L-12)

6) ONCE YOU HAVE TRAINED ALL OF YOUR L-12 TO LAUNCH 12 YOU NO LONGER NEED TO HAVE A D.G. (You can spend all your time on leadership development. The reason you continue to have a D.G up to this point is to continue to recruit, care and train leaders and help your L-12 get to their 12 groups each.)

• @Level #2- Leading a D.G group.
• @Level #3- Developed and Launched a D.G leader.
• @Level #4- Leading a L-12 Group.
• @Level #5- Developed and launched 12. ( Your L-12 is complete.)
• @Level #6- Develop one of your 12 to Launch 12. (One of your 12 has a complete 12)
• @Level #7- All of your 12 have launched 12. (L-12 have all launched their 12. All of them now have a complete 12. You now have 144 D.G leaders in your network. Once you have 144 you no longer need to continue doing your regular D.G
• because you need to spend your time focusing and leadership training and development.)
• @Level #8- 144 have launched 12 =1,728 in your network.
