3 FACTS ABOUT TAKING ACTION

FACT #1 - A GREAT VISION/GOALS WITHOUT ACTION PRODUCE NO RESULTS.

James 2:17 (NIV) In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

FACT #2 - IT IS A SIN TO KNOW WHAT TO DO AND NOT DO IT.

James 4:17 (CEB) It is a sin when someone knows the right thing to do and doesn’t do it.

  • STATS:
    • We retain only 5% of what we have learned from lecture. (Most of what we learn through a lecture will going into one ear and go out the other.)
    • We retain 75% of what we learn when we practice what we’ve been taught.
    • We retain 90% of what we have learned when we learn it, practice it and teach it to someone else.
FACT #3 - HEARING AND NOT DOING IS PRACTICING SELF-DECEPTION.

James 1:22 (ESV) But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

LEVEL 1 – Self leadership – join a DG and attend consistently

LEVEL 2 – Lead a DG

LEVEL 3 – Recruit 12 members in your DG

LEVEL 4 – Leader Developer – Developed and launched a DG

LEVEL 5 – Multiple Leader Developer – Developed and launched 3 DGs

LEVEL 6 – Top Leader – Developed and launched 12 leaders in the church

LEVEL 7 – All 12 leaders are Level 4 leaders

LEVEL 8 – Have a leader that has developed and launched 12 groups (have one level 6 leader)

LEVEL 9 – Develop and launch 144 groups (your 12 have launched 12)

LEVEL 10 – Develop and launch 1,728 groups.

ACTION PLAN/HOME WORK
  1. IDENTIFY WHAT LEVEL YOU ARE AT AND WRITE IT DOWN.
  2. CREATE A 90 DAY PLAN TO GET TO NEXT LEVEL OF LEADERSHIP.
  3. IDENTIFY WHAT LEVEL EVERYONE IN YOUR D.G IS AT AND HELP THEM CREATE AN ACTION PLAN TO GET TO THE NEXT LEVEL IN 90 DAYS.
