As we went through our relationship series we have learned what true love is . But as well as on how to have healthy relationships between our family, friends, and our most important relationship God. This series has taught us how relationships with God in the middle are truly meant to be . Today we are wrapping it up with some questions you guys have about relationships.

Matthew 4:6

6 and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’

QUESTION FROM PANEL: How do we lead our friendships or what do we do to lead a friend to Christ?

  • We should be checking our cycle and seeing if God is in the middle of these friendships we have.
  • Be a friend that is leading to the right not wrong

Note: It all starts with you and God

QUESTION FROM PANEL: How do I keep the friendships that I have and lead them to Christ?

  • We reflect Christ so check what we represent
  • Check your heart and motives

Romans 12:2 NLT

2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

QUESTION FROM PANEL: How should we preach to our unsaved friends or family?

Luke 12:12

12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said.”

  • Pray for them
  • Allow God to work and use you in them
  • Work for God and he will work for you always

Note: We should worry about nothing and pray about everything.

QUESTION FROM PANEL:How do I love my family if they are unsaved and don’t believe as well as don’t want to believe?

Acts 16:31 NLT

31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”

  • Pray for them to desire God
  • Be the person to plant the seed and continue to water

Truth: We have to love them the way God loves us. Also demonstrate that love.(show them the better way)

QUESTION FROM PANEL: Why am I not allowed to date as a teenager?

2 Timothy 2:22

22 Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

Insight: We should not date now instead we should be taking the time to build ourselves into the pure person God wants us to be.

  • Don’t allow yourself to be tempted, instead turn away and run to God.
  • Allow God to endure and show you the true love so that you can share that with your future spouse.

4.Growing and Submitting

QUESTION FROM PANEL: How do I grow with God outside of church?

James 4:8 NLT

8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

  • Make God your priority (choose God before anything else)
  • Don’t have a time off relationship with God
  • Break the habits and replace with better habits
  • God is willing to pick up right where he left off so LET HIM!!

Note: it is our responsibility to and all God wants is for you to  build a foundation on him.

Question: What have you learned today, How will it take it with you throughout your week?

Deuteronomy 16:16-17 No man should appear before the LORD empty-handed. Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the LORD your God has blessed you.

Let’s take the time today to cheerfully give on the WAY app 😀!!!
