Founding & Senior Pastors of The Way World Outreach

Pastors Marco and Liza Garcia founded The Way World Outreach in 2004 in San Bernardino, CA, a city plagued by violence and poverty. With Pastor Marco’s leadership and experience in ministry and the business world, The Way quickly made a positive impact.

The Garcia’s compassionate heart drove the church’s growth by reaching the most vulnerable parts of the inner-city with the love of God through food distributions, life transformation homes, and outreach teams.

It has become a highly influential organization with multiple campuses in San Bernardino, Pomona, Los Angeles, Arizona and Mexico, and hundreds of churches in Kenya and Uganda.

Bringing salvation to the inner cities of the world through the preaching of the gospel, loving people, meeting their needs, making disciples of Jesus Christ, and developing leaders that build the local church that transforms the community.

Our Beliefs

STATEMENT OF FAITH

2 Timothy 3:16

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

Acts 4:10-12

We believe that there is only one name by which man can be saved and forgiven of sin, and that is Jesus Christ.

John 3:3 | Romans 3:10, 23 | Romans 10:9-10

We believe that man is sinful by nature, and must be born again by the Holy Spirit in order to be saved and that salvation is a free gift of God received by personal faith and confession in Jesus Christ.

John 14:26 | Acts 1:8

We believe in the active work of the Holy Spirit in all who have trusted Him for salvation, and by whose filling, the believer is empowered and taught how to live godly life.

Matthew 28:18-20

We believe that Jesus Christ has directed His church (the Body of Christ) to evangelize (preach the good news of the Gospel) and make disciples of all nations. It is therefore the work of every member of the Body of Christ to carry out this great commission.

Matthew 28:19

We believe that the Bible states all who confess Jesus as Lord should be baptized and follow Him completely.

We believe that the Love of God is the greatest power available to transform a life. As a church learns to love others with the Love of God, people will be drawn to Jesus Christ. It is the loving kindness of the Lord that brings men to repentance.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, He was born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, gave His body as sacrificial death for all sin, He resurrected from the dead, He ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father as our high priest, and will personally return in power and glory.

We believe that the full Gospel of Jesus Christ is given for us today!
