WATCH: HOW TO BE FRUITFUL & MULTIPLY HERE!
Foundational Scripture: God wants us to bear fruit, steadily grow, and increase in everything that we do through living a life that is Holy and totally pleasing to Him.
Colossians 1:10 (AMPC) That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance, and recognition].
Fruitful: (parah) branch off, grow and increase. Show fruit.
Multiply: (Rabah) become many, to make large, increase greatly, abundance.
Insight: A fruitful tree next to another fruitful tree is more fruitful.
- Holiness is the lifestyle of the spiritually fruitful multiplier.
- Our Holy and fruitful lives give us credibility with those we are trying to influence.
- Our lives are the proof that Jesus lives and of His transformative power.
- No one wants to follow a theory; they want to follow a testimony. They should be saying ‘Show me how to be fruitful and Godly like you.’ We should be living the life that we were created to live in Christ.
“Fruitfulness is a lifestyle before it is a result.” Pastor Marco Garcia
- Note: Fruitfulness and multiplication are a direct result of personal holiness. Carnal Christians cannot bear spiritual fruit. Get right with God and He will multiply your D.G, Church, Organization.
A. STOP EXPECTING TO BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY IN OUR D.G’S, LIFE, MINISTRY, AND BUSINESS WITHOUT BEING SPIRITUALLY FRUITFUL.
- Any success, growth, and prosperity apart from spiritual growth will not be long-lasting, or fulfilling.
- At best it will succeed with sorrow, pain, and loss; which is not success at all.
3 John 2 (AMP) Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health physically, just as I know your soul prospers spiritually.
B. JESUS REDEEMED US FROM A FRUITLESS LIFE SO THAT WE COULD LIVE A HOLY AND FRUITFUL LIFE.
- Being Holy is a command to all believers because it is possible to be an unholy and unfruitful believer.
1 Peter 1:15-18 (AMPC) 15 But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.’16 For it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy. 17 And if you call upon Him as your Father Who judges each one impartially according to what he does, then you should conduct yourselves with true reverence throughout the time of your temporary residence [on the earth, whether long or short]. 18 You must know (recognize) that you were redeemed (ransomed) from the useless (fruitless) way of living inherited by tradition from [your] forefathers, not with corruptible things [such as] silver and gold,
Holy: (hagios) pure (unmixed, clean, free from contamination), to be physically and morally blameless, reverence (to have a deep respect and devotion to God), to be set apart for God alone, one belongs to God, describes those who are servants of God, those who lead a life that is acceptable to Him and therefore enjoy His favor and protection over their lives, those who are under the influence and leadership of the Holy Spirit, sinless, upright, to have pure love for God.
C. ADAM LOST HIS FULL ABILITY TO BE FRUITFUL WHEN HE LOST HIS HOLINESS.
- As long as Adam remained Holy, he remained fruitful but as soon as he lost his full devotion to God, he also lost the full blessing of fruitfulness.
- Where there is sin in the D.G and Network, ministry will fall.
- Holiness must begin with the leader. What Adam lost was the full blessing of fruitfulness and multiplication that he was blessed with at the beginning. He was no longer in that place.
Genesis 3:17-18 (NLT) 17 And to the man he said “Since you listened to your wife and ate from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat, the ground is cursed because of you. All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it. 18 It will grow thorns and thistles for you, though you will eat of its grains.
Insight: Unholy living, curses our ground, our marriage, our ministry, and our business.
D. HOLINESS IS ABIDING AND OBEYING THE WORD OF GOD.
John 15:5-7 (ESV) 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Insight: Jesus promises that holiness will always result in a fruitful prayer life.
E. HOLINESS IS BEING SINGLE-MINDED VS DOUBLE-MINDED.
- Those who are double-minded have a divided loyalty between a love for God and a love for the world.
- The double-minded do not receive anything from God. Remember being fruitful is a result of being blessed. Satan does everything to make us carnal, worldly, and compromising leaders to disqualify us from the blessing of fruitfulness and multiplication that God desires for us.
James 1:6-8 (NLT) 6 But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. 7 Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.
Insight: Unholy people are unstable and unfruitful people.
A. WE MUST BELIEVE AND DECLARE FRUITFULNESS AND MULTIPLICATION OVER OUR LIVES AND THOSE WE ARE LEADING.
- God shows us how to be fruitful and multiply. We cannot have a fruitful life if we don’t have a fruitful mouth.
Genesis 1:11-12 (NLT)11 Then God said, “Let the land sprout with vegetation— every sort of seed-bearing plant, and trees that grow seed-bearing fruit. These seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came.” And that is what happened. 12 The land produced vegetation—all sorts of seed-bearing plants, and trees with seed-bearing fruit. Their seeds produced plants and trees of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.
B. TO TRULY BELIEVE IS TO BE 100% CONVINCED THAT IT WILL HAPPEN – THAT YOU WILL BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY.
Hebrews 11:1-2 (TLB) What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.
C. THOSE WHO TRULY BELIEVE, DEFINE THEIR FUTURE FRUITFULNESS AND MULTIPLICATION AND PUT A DEADLINE ON IT.
Example: By December of 2025 I will develop and launch 12 new D.G leaders. This month I will develop and launch Bob to lead a D.G. I will recruit 24 new people this month, into my D.G Network and I will make sure they get through Holy Warriors 1-4.
Genesis 18:10 (AMP) He said, “I will surely return to you at this [a]time next year; and behold, Sarah your wife will have a son.” And Sarah was listening at the tent door, which was behind him.
